Facebook

How do you find long forgotten friends nowadays? Panawagan sa radyo - no longer works, a newspaper ad is just too over-the-top, and sometimes word of mouth just lead to dead-ends.
Maybe Facebook?!

That is how the USC CE Batch '82 got reconnected. From e-mail exchanges, phone calls, and a bit of online searching, we caught up with each other through Facebook. Just loving this social networking media.

Yes, we are late bloomers to this Facebook craze because the world has gone Twitter already! But who cares, we are children of the 60's anyway!

This is how we looked then, and with Facebook, we got updated
of how much we've changed after all those years.

Footnote: A recent Ohio University study indicated that students with Facebook account get lower grades than those who don't have one. Aren't you glad we did not have Facebook then?

  2. Jayne,
The study said more hours are spent on Facebook than studying thus the low grades. However, the "Facebookers" say if it is not Facebook it could be other distractions, like TV during our time. Can't win them all!
