McDonald's (Canada only) is giving away free coffee! At breakfast hours only, between the 20th April and the 3rd May, you can nab a free McDonald's premium roast coffee.Not to be outdone, Starbucks gave away free coffee last Wednesday (as long as you brought your own mug) to celebrate Earth day.
Nothing heard from Tim Horton's with the on-going java wars.
In an unrelated incident, Blockbuster is reducing their video rental charge to entice more borrowers in these recession times. They now charge a dollar lesser than their biggest competitor Rogers in the video rental wars.
If there is one thing good about these uncertain times, the consumers are getting better deals.
In Canada its an honest deal. A real one. In Philippines, when shops say it's buy one take one, the prices are just doubled actually. If your impuslsive you'll end up buying 2 instead of 1. At home I have 2 pairs of shoes that I don't use.
