I posed the question to myself after the show and here is what I will bring:
A Bible - Everything in this book can be interpreted differently every day.
Whatever will happen in the island, I am sure the bible will be the best guide.
A thick notebook and lots of pens - there must be a lot of things to write about wherever I will be.
Pictures of my loved ones - for memory sake.
Over to you : Name 3 things you will bring if you have to leave and never come back.

Can I bring my whole family? I don't mind the rest.
ReplyDeleteme, too... i want to bring my whole family!
ReplyDeleteAs Ben said, anything that will fit your suitcase.
ReplyDeleteI am still waiting for good answers...
First: my comment on your 3... Bible(wow! how can I not make that my # 1? that's the first book I read in the a.m. and the last one before going to bed, since July 2008). Lingaw kaayo ko sa imong # 2, Em...what would life be without a notepad & pens for EMA?... and your 3rd, that would be my 2nd. My 3rd?... ah! my private journals.

Honestly, I was caught off guard by the question. Seems an easy one but hard to make a choice...
ReplyDeleteI'll bring my laptop - that's if there will be power out there. Next item will be my digital camera - I've learned to live with it. Last item which I believe is memorable will be my birth certificate - at least I will be able to prove my age.

Bible and Toiletries. Have to smell good and stay clean no matter what happens.
ReplyDeleteStill I cannot imagine without my family if I am never to come back. But so as not to court your ire and start maligning me (lol)...here's the 3 items--a cellphone to get me connected with my family if I miss them (here we go again), a family portrait and lots of cash. Guess what will I do with the cash?... this time you'll gonna to kill me...if I can't stand the loneliness I will go home quickly by all means. Lol.

ReplyDeleteNow you are making me laugh!
What's with the birth certificate? I could not see the importance.
Toiletries - yeah, ok.
Pens, paper, journals.
Cash? I thought for a while you were thinking of shopping!
It was fun reading your answers.
