Feel of Christmas : Kris Kringles and Secret Santas

We had our Secret Santa in the office yesterday. This was initiated to add a little fun and excitement to the unchristmassy feel in the office. Nobody was decorating, people were grumpy, it was just too business-like.
After being in this game for several years, I've learned that the best approach to these activities is to expect the worst. I always had bad luck with Secret Santas, Kris Kringles and the like. It is either my Santa does not show up, my Santa thinks I love chocolates, or my Santa is just plain lazy to pick an appropriate gift for me.
Yesterday however was different. Most of the girls had fun and liked their gifts. For a change, I had a Santa with good taste!
And best of all the office suddenly felt a lot like Christmas. How is your Christmas going?

  1. Good for you! That was a nice way of enticing office mates to enliven the Christmas spirit in your office. Ours was - we had lunch together in the office. Our Manager bought pizza and we had some beer as well.

  2. We had our annual white elephant gift exchange last Wednesday, free lunch and for some reason, I ended up with my own gift. Can't complain.

Laughing really out loud (and more than 3x too).
Was planning to ask what you got. Can't add more comments, still laughing.
