Today we went to Tiger Direct (warehouse for computers and accessories) to get the birthday gift. I stayed in the car and told my 2 boys to call me when it is Mastercard time.
Computer warehouses are not my favorite places. It is such a boring place with big boxes, thousands of gadgets, and a lot of "nerdy" folks. (Really, not anymore. It is just full of people). I know what is going to happen inside. The hubby would want to look at everything in the store, taking minutes to examine, read, touch. Meanwhile me, on the other hand has only 2 questions for everything in the store. "Why do we need it?" and "How much are they?"
This is the same with hardware stores. Rona (a hardware store) is just a few steps away from us, and to purchase just 1 roll of packaging tape would take us an hour. For the hubby, there is always something we need to check at the electrical aisle, the plumbing aisle, the lighting aisle. My mind of course is wondering somewhere else.
If I will have my own computer warehouse or hardware store, I will surely have it beside an Outlet mall. Saves everyone gas and time. Perfect idea.
Why don't you add me as a "follower"? I now read your stuff, and I enjoy it. You give me ideas and you amuse me with your comments on life as Miss Randomness. I think that outlet malls beside boring men's interest stores is a great idea and this MUST exist somewhere.

Brilliant idea! I'm sure there are places like that. Em, when are you coming to Orlando?
ReplyDeleteHow about not going with the hubby to these boring places? That is what i would do... I'd rather be home blogging :)
