D turns 20 !

Back in November 28, 1988 :

• The exchange rate was P21 - $ 1 US. Now we are at P 49 - $ 1 US.
• Fidel Ramos was just a member of President Cory Aquino's cabinet. Ramos became President.
• JFK was cover of People magazine on the November 28, 1988 issue. Now Barack Obama is US president-elect.

20 years is a long time. And 20 is how old D is today. It seems like yesterday at Sanitarium Hospital, room 222. Ted, Dodong M, and hubby were there eagerly waiting for my first, who turned out to become my one and only child. First haircut (oh, how he cried), first school day (how excited he was), first movie (he was scared with Beauty and the Beast). Now, almost grown up, but not really. His love for writing is still there as much as the love for Lego.

In his dreams he wants a Vespa, but in reality he wants an external hard drive with firewire connector. At 20, D has so many dreams and one ambitious project he wants to accomplish before reaching 30. All along the way, I have always been there and will continue to be there.
