D : ( in one of his FAQ mode) Mom, what are you doing today?
Me: Clean-up, clean-up, there is so much cleaning I need to do.
D: Why do you always do that? Our house is clean, it is lived in!"
So, why clean? My home will never make it to The Architectural Digest, not even in Condo Living. But D and hubby likes it the way it is. Their coats and jackets can linger in the sofa for a while. Our shoes can be on top of each other on Friday afternoons. Remote control fight for space in the dining table. Even the dishes can wait.
Okay, if no one is complaining, I like "lived-in" homes, too.
Our work is never done, ain't it?

au,
thanks...more reason to love my lived-in home.
Live-in home is the real home. If it is that organized, nobody lives there . . .
ReplyDeletethanks a lot for the sympathy. No wonder we are friends..
