Do you mean sukang Pinakurat? It's iligan's pride. Their new product is WayKurat (not spicy). And another one still in the offing is WaKaKurati? (as in makuratan ka sa ka hot and spicy)...believe it or not.
Don't believe in the news that GMA went to visit the bomb victims of Iligan. She was there for another reason--to grace the opening of the new building of Pinakurat (the shocking vinegar, lol) a day after the bombing. She's brazen and incorrigible liar. Same incident also happened in Zamboanga, a bombing occured just a day before she visited there. This is an unscrupulous and inhuman way of protest by the MILF after the supposed memorandum of agreement, espoused by the government, was canceled. The agreement was to increase the area of ancestral domain in Mindanao by the MILF and Iligan was against it. The negotiators in the government panel acted like gods assuming the positive reaction of the constituents of Iligan. Who is an Iliganon would approve if 80 percent of his territory will be transferred to the rogue rebel group? That is how scheming she is, because the MOA will pave the way of changing the 1987 charter. Once the move to change is pushed they can then do other things like changing the government system and making her lifetime dictator. So be it.
I have a good friend who's from Iligan. I'll mention this to her.
