Christmas is Here

In the Philippines, Christmas starts when the"ber" months begins. Here in Toronto, it starts with the Santa Claus parade and a Santa present in every mall.

Scarborough Town Centre welcomed Christmas yesterday. Hubby and I was there to have coffee and some down time but it was almost impossible to get a parking. No wonder, not only was Santa Claus there, Diego and Dora the Explorer were there too! Crying babies, impatient toddlers, a few lost (and then found kids), cool moms and dads, doting grandparents and nannies, and busy, busy security staff -- were all part of the fun but loooong wait to have their pictures taken with Santa.

Have your Christmas begun?

  1. Most usually, my neighbors hang up their Christmas decorations day after Thanksgiving. But there's a retired Manoy who lives a block from me who had been decorating his yard since last week. Went to an Orlando mall today, but I haven't noticed anything Chrismassy yet. Years ago,we had hanging icicles from the roof. That was too much work. Lately we've kept it super simple. Wreath by the door, red ribbon by the mailbox, and not to forget the tree and decorations indoors.

That's funny you mentioned Dora and Diego. At work, one of our techs calls me Dora and another coworker as Diego. I'll show you next week what we did with Dora and Diego's pictures.
