Some places are beautiful in any season and Cobourg is one of these places. An hours' drive east of Toronto, is this quaint town. We visited Cobourg in the summer and it was bustling with activity. Sandcastle festival, colorful huge kite butterflies in their plaza and artistic piano pieces scattered along the streets.
This last visit was different. We experienced the laid back style of the city which may be the reason tourists were a plenty.
The old main street of Cobourg is
lined with red/brown brick walls.
The downtown is filled with one-of-a kind shops and
colorful windows displays.
Beside the marker of Victoria Hall, the
town hall built in 1860 now a National Historic Site of Canada.
