How could I have missed this funny, cute, entertaining movie? Despicable Me. The story is all too worn out but you just got to love the villain, Mr. Despicable. And suddenly one wants a few those minions too.
Because the hubby did not want to watch a kid movie on Family Day (understandably), we went for Monument's Men. It was a good choice and time not wasted. It was not the big name stars, the big budget car chases, or award winning performances. This is one movie where THE STORY carried itself through. Lasting almost 2 hours, it never got boring. Thank you George Clooney for investing your time and money for movies like this. And did I say it is based on a true story?
