Days After Holidays

Am still not back in business due to the holidays. Mind and body refuse to move and think except when raiding the fridge while watching old movies/mini-series or munching popcorn while watching blockbusters in theaters.

Dec. 25 - How did Clint Eastwood's classic movie "The Good, The Bad and the Ugly" become our Christmas movie? Only heaven knows. It was not even the regular version, we watched the digitally remastered 3 hour extended version. Being used to the fast paced movies nowadays, I found it rather slow at times and ridiculously funny. But, I have to give credit to the movie's must have soundtrack. A moving, evocative soundtrack that I now desperately want to have.

Dec 26 - State of Play, the British mini series. Interest in this mini series emanated from the movie of the same title we recently watched. The family found the story very intriguing that we decided to watch the original. We are halfway through this 6 hour show and so far nobody is complaining. (Opinion/comment to be blogged later).

Movies we saw : Avatar and Nine. Will post comment/opinion about these 2 movies later. As it stands right now, I have no regrets. Both worth my time.

I just love the days after the holidays!
