When it comes to stories, my favorite reads are fiction. Most “intellectual” people I have high regard of and respect however , prefer biographies. They say, fiction is just a product of an author’s imagination. Non-fiction stories are true to life and there is so much to learn on biographies.
I have read a few non-fiction bios and they seem to be interesting, but I have not changed my mind. Fiction has excitement, drama, entertainment. I promised myself I will read more biographies and non-fiction novels during my retirement years. But for now, fiction is still for me.
Do you go for fiction or non-fiction?
I totally agree with you... FICTION it is!
ReplyDeleteCount me on...I only read bios in Wikepedia.
ReplyDeleteTing,
ReplyDeleteI know you are a fiction lover. You still have time?
Julits,
I regarded you as a bio reader. You know a lot of things.
I like biography in tidbits, especially the tsismis side of it. Bio books are usually thick...turns off interest. The details can become boring.
