When were the best years of your life?This topic came about among the ladies while in the office kitchen one day. Most answers centered on the ages between 18-25. And why not? School was almost over (or over), financial freedom, no cares, and no parental restrictions anymore. Whew! What a life, then!
Having a family, raising kids was another “best years” – but most said – it was another “era” – another phase.
How about having grandchildren? – Best years? Yeah, but only when the grandchildren make a short visit – not when they stay.
