Surprise ! Surprise!

My 4 day long weekend promised to be relaxing despite the hubby not feeling so well. TV, Easter get-together with Scarborough friends and some spring cleaning was scheduled. But late Friday night, a close friend called (note: in a low hushed voice) “hey, are you coming over? the surprise party for the wifey is on”. We declined saying, we really cannot.

However, the hubby is just the kind of person who cannot say no to friends – specially with this friend and with an invitation like that. Drastic change in plans.

So off we drove to our friend's place – a "mere" 5 hours drive away and across the Canada-US border to Riverview, Michigan.
