Peanuts for Memory

Remember the salted, crunchy, tasty peanuts sold along the sidewalk?

Hubby found peeled, raw peanuts while at the Chinese store and suddenly had a craving for "deep fried peanuts". Making these peanuts brought memories of 2 good people.

Gerry, a friend who is now in Ireland. He taught us how not to under or over cook the peanuts; then Linda, our ever reliable helper who made pots of these peanuts, packed them and sold them at "the kart".

Any peanut memory?

  8. cpsanti,
i recall when buying peanuts, we always asked for some roasted garlic with it. with our "discovery" of these raw peanuts in the Chinese stores, we can now have as much roasted garlic as we want.
