Some days I just want to do something different. Hubby and I did that last Saturday. We took the subway and went to downtown Toronto – not to work but to be a Toronto tourist.
Destination : Toronto Harbourfront, a neighbourhood on the northern shore of Lake Ontario within the downtown core of the city of Toronto.
Starting from the subway, I felt the difference. Riders were more carefree, younger, louder, and had smiles on their faces. A far cry from the workday crowd who look either hurried, dazed or tired.
The harbourfront was not very picturesque yet. Trees were barren of leaves, and it was still a bit cold, but birds were chirping. Dogs of various sizes and shapes were walked by their owners while gorgeous and good looking joggers passed us by.
From the lakeshore we walked towards the Rogers Centre, then to the CN Tower. Just a leisurely Saturday afternoon basking in Toronto air.
Try experiencing the ordinary through a different eye once in a while. How about this weekend?
Is that last pic your future condo? Nag-date-date diay mo last saturday... How sweet! :-P
ReplyDeleteThe trees with all its leafless splendour looked great. Nice shot.
