What Would You Do?

You find a lottery ticket on the office copying machine. You had it checked and it won $1000.

Would you ask the 90+ staff in your office who owns it?

Would your answer still be the same if it won nothing?

How about if it won a million?

  1. I so wanna win the lottery million(s) but I want me to be the one who bought it, not found it. How about you?... now, now... return that ticket (this is Jimminy Cricket on the loudspeaker!!!)

    Kalidadis-ly yours,

  2. If it won $1,000 or $1,000,000 -- first I will wait till someone looks for a missing ticket. Anyone can claim that he/she is the owner of a winning ticket so I rather wait. If no one claims, then perhaps the old adage applies that the finder's the keeper. If it won nothing, it will surely land in the trash bin.

If it was me it wouldn't go that far of knowing if it won or not because normally my first action if I find something in a place like the office will be to ask/findout who the owner is.

  4. as bad as this may sound, i am an opportunist. so maybe like anonymous said up there, i'll probably wait a week or two for someone to look for that ticket. if nobody turns up, then the $1000 is mine!!!

  6. Keep it for a week. If nobody claimed it, then it's yours.
