I have to finally choose my goals for this year. I mean GOALS -- things that has to be accomplished in 2009. Lists are things I can do in a day, or a week - but Goals are different. For me, if list is to stars, goal is to moon. Something to reach for - not too easy, not too tough.
Tadahh... my goals for 2009 :
Lose weight (making me the 30 millionth person with this goal ). How will I do it? The old fashioned way : exercise and proper diet. I believe this is the only tried and tested formula to weight loss success - nothing else. My clothes will be my judge.
Take a course that interest me ( looks like I have to forget the medical field). I am excited about this goal but there is still one thing that holds me back. Once I go around those hindrances, I will start.
Pursue my card making "venture" ( because I like to!). I like doing those paper crafts and a few people had suggested I should sell some of them. This year, I will devote some time for this venture - unleash my "creative" talents, and who knows where it may lead me?
Driving. Nothing more needs to be written. Period.
I only chose 4 as I know each of these goals needs time - and with blogging also taking much of my time (my choice, really) I can only do as much. Why am I writing and telling you about all these? First, so you will know what I will be doing and blogging more about this year. Second, so you can remind me and cheer me. Third, so we can have something to come back and check by the end of this year.
How about you, have you set your goals for the year?
Good luck with your goals hopefully you reach your target by the end of the year!
ReplyDeleteYou can do it!
ReplyDeleteYipeee! To see is to believe. But what if you miss your goals? Will it be a 100% standard? Or will 90% be acceptable?
ReplyDeleteNo worries. I'll be your conscience always...
Your goals # 1, 2, ____, 4 are the same as mine. Don't ask me in what order will I lay them out(lol)
ReplyDeleteYour # 3? wala ko ana...
Anyway, I know you do very well in accomplishing your goals.

You can achieve your goals. Just be realistic. Forgetting the medical stuff? You'll be amazed to learn about one's own body. Maybe reading a health topic/article once in a while will prove interesting.
