No, I had no intention nor expectation to take photos of empty chairs at the Royal Botanical Garden. But when the opportunity presented itself - who am I to resist?

There is always something melancholic about empty chairs.

Scattered along the trails were chairs similar to this. Rugged and worn but they still offer rest for the weary on summer days.

This one is inside the tropical garden where succulents and other sun loving plants thrive.

Perfectly placed for those who just want to enjoy the flowers and plants outside.
