On our first full day in Massachusetts we drove to Ski Butternut in Great Barrington to take a look at The Berkshire Art Festival. The entrance fee was a bit on the pricey side but then when we were inside - I begun to understand. Amazing was not enough to describe the variety of talent, artists, works and products I saw. They were not the ordinary artworks I have seen anywhere.
An Indian head made of copper wires. Such details.
Teacups, Kettles and Teasets on a frame.
A 3D "painting" using wire mesh and some colors.
Another set of paintings.
With more than 100 artists showcasing their products and booths to view - it was a near impossible feat to cover the whole area in a day. Absolutely one Art Show I will not forget in a long, long time. More about the Art Show here.
