Detroit, Michigan for YaYa 2016 - 1

This year's sisterhood bonding was from July 29 - 31 in Detroit, Michigan. For 2 nights and days we stayed at a Air BnB booked by Dang. The other 2 nights, we stayed at Dang's Shelby Township home. The cast was complete with Jette, Dang, Tetet, Cindy and moi.

Places we visited and the Things we Did :
We started with fun at Dang's place of work : the school bus garage!

Then off we went to the Greenfield Village where we walked historic paths and rode on a steam powered train ! Had lunch at the stand near the covered bridge where the sweet potato fries were so delicious.
The Henry Ford Museum was another fun place we visited. With car and airplanes of long ago it was so easy to forget time in the museum.

And last for our first day was the Ford Rouge Factory Tour. With the first 2 places about history, this last one was all about modernization and innovation. It was an awesome tour that made me fell in love with my new dream vehicle - the Ford F150. Make that in red too!

Our second day was spent at the Eastern Market. This one is no ordinary market. With bakeries, cafes, fruits, vegetables and meat products were the decorated walls of the market. So avant-garde!

Sunday was church day and Detroit - the city. So much to explore - so little time!

Then it is time to say "until the next time"!
