Peterborough, Ontario

No rain nor dark clouds can stop Wander Girl and Wander Boy. Peterborough, a city around 1.5 hrs northeast of Scarborough was our location of choice.

First stop - Original Spaghetti House and Pizzeria at George St. It was a good choice for a late lunch. I had the traditional baked Lasagna and the hubby had the Veal Scaloppini Marsala. Both were Delizioso! and filling. The restaurant was presentable, with decent art works on the wall and had beautiful Italian arias playing.

Next - the Lift Lock. The scene could have been prettier - but rain dampened our spirits. Managed to take a few shoots though. And a promise to maybe come back next fall.

Before we left, an interesting "art" caught our eye.

Interesting afternoon I should say.
