For the Love of Road Trips : Western Ontario 1

This August long weekend gave us a chance to check out a few lesser-known Ontario towns.

Orangeville
We pass this place very often but never took the time to see what it has to offer. Until today. We were kind of unprepared for Orangeville really. We had lunch a few minutes before we reached the place thus trying out any of the restaurants or coffee shops was not an option. We did peruse the bookstores, the art shops, even the second hand stores which sold really pretty tea sets!

Harriston
After an hour or so of driving we decided to stop at this very quiet place called Harriston. This small gazebo located in a small parkette provided us a much needed cool place to rest.

Pine River
This relatively remote town is primarily a rural region of farmland and woodlots. Home of the Pine River Cheese factory. Of course, we had ice-cream and got some cheese.

So many places, so little time. My Ontario.
