A Taste of New England - 2

Wilmington, Vermont.
A chair by any other name (Summer, Mountain, Adirondack, Muskoka) is still a chair, even if it is a giant chair.

This quaint town we have never heard before. A main street lined with historic buildings, small shops, flowers, and population said to be 2,000 in 2010. What awaits us? Chairs! Summer chairs! Giant Adirondack chairs! or Muskoka chairs since we are Canadians. Wilmington together with neighboring places Dover and Jacksonville recently launched the Summer Chair Madness!!

21 ginormous adirondack chairs were designed, painted and installed in various areas and we spent the first day in this beautiful town "hunting" them. Actually, a map can be requested from the information centre and armed with that guide the hunting became more fun!

So we did! Saw, sat, conquered these chairs! 18 out of 21 (2 were still not finished when we visited).
