Two more movies via Korean Airlines.
Memories of a Geisha. This movie was nominated and won several film awards during its release. Kind of long - but the cinematography made up for it. The story no matter how long was still a love story in the end. A beautiful movie.
Love Is A Many Splendored Thing. A 1955 American drama-romance film set in 1949-50 Hong Kong. It is the story of a married, but separated, American reporter Mark Elliot who falls in love with a Eurasian doctor Han Suyin originally from China , only to encounter prejudice from her family and from Hong Kong
The sentimental and upbeat theme song, "Love is a Many-Splendored Thing" was one of the first songs written for a movie to become no. 1 in the charts in the same year.
Two movies I enjoyed watching while up in the air.
