Happy Halloween

 wondered what got into me lately, I browsed some of Edgar Allan Poe's works. It was like a trip down memory lane. For how could one forget . . .
Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore,
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
`'Tis some visitor,' I muttered, `tapping at my chamber door -
Only this, and nothing more.'
~ The Raven

How many of us still remember those lines, the teacher, the grade or even the contest we joined with this masterpiece. Or how about the equally popular poem which starts with...

It was many and many a year ago,
In a kingdom by the sea,
That a maiden there lived whom you may know
By the name of ANNABEL LEE;
And this maiden she lived with no other thought
Than to love and be loved by me.
~ Annabel Lee

HAPPY HALLOWEEN, EVERYONE!
