Different Weekend

The past weekend was an unusual one. A good deviation from the "too predictable" weekends we've had lately.

First - hubby is seldom the homebody kind of guy. He does his share of chores - but. Anyway, armed with glass cleaner, rugs, and more cleaning materials - he cleaned all the glass windows inside and out. For the benefit of those who have not seen our place, glass windows transverse from the living to dining room. And that included taking down all the blinds, washing and putting them back too. (Okay, I did the washing).
Second - chilling at Bistro Manila - a restaurant that has live band on weekends, playing those so-familiar 70's music. Delicious Filipino dishes like adobong pusit, several types of pancit, and even halo-halo are available. Dancing and having fun with some friends made that Saturday night more enjoyable.
Third - watching a TIFF movie on Sunday, aptly titled "Pinoy Sunday". Although not a Filipino production, but still proud that Filipinos starred in the movie. Enjoyed the Toronto lights after the movie.

  1. Consider it a blessed weekend because a miracle happened (joking)-- blinds are seldom washed. Mine hasn't got the feel yet of what is being churned in the machine.

  2. Solitario,
The blinds did not get through the machine. Washed manually in the bathtub :)
