Toronto Centre Island - Revisited
July 24, 2010
It must have been 6 years since my last visit to Toronto's Centre Island. Although this 600 acres of parkland is not far off from the shore of downtown Toronto - it is one of those "it will always be there" places - no need to hurry.
Just a few minutes away by ferry, Centre Island is actually a number of islands with loads of green space, bicycle paths, and an amusement park. Centre Island is a great trip for anyone wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
To enjoy the butterflies and smell the flowers...
For encounters and greenery . .
And photograph the familiar CN Tower in a different way.
Too bad it rained late afternoon, but I am sure going back in less than 6 years.
