The Hangover

This movie was never in my "to watch" list. I thought this would all be slapstick, very adult jokes with no story. Plus, I did not like the movie poster with the baby. Why bring a baby to Vegas?

When friends however told me that they enjoyed the movie and it won Golden Globe's award for Best Movie for Comedy or Musical - it was time to rent the DVD.

Four guys went to Vegas for a bachelor's party, then lost all memory of the night and ended up losing a friend, finding a tiger, losing a tooth, and finding a baby in their room. Their vintage Mercedes convertible has been replaced by a police car and thugs after them. Don't you just like that for story originality? Then, how do they retrace their steps without the usual flashback? That is how the plot thickens.

The Hangover is raunchy but funny, with excellent cast and soundtrack that is well chosen. The closing credits was also a fun twist and original. Worth the DVD rental.
