Childhood is a mystery, a thrill ride, an experience.
"Where The Wild Things Are" the movie adaptation of Maurice Sendak's 338 words children's book made me misty eyed. D has long bid goodbye to childhood - but I can so much relate Max to him.
From his love of Lego; to making up stories; to being alone and content with entertaining himself - the similarities are too close. Then Max went to the place where wild things were and met himself. Self discovery is always the start to maturity.
The journey was complex, but then childhood is no child's play.
There are many reasons why people watched and liked this movie. Find out what's yours.
