Highs and Lows

• Funny, emotional with a redeeming value at the end.
• Typical Pinoy movie slightly touching on a not so common subject.
• Most people can relate to the movie - either as a newcomer to America, accepting a same sex relationship, or growing up with a dominating mother - who does even know it, to just being a family.
• The casting choices was excellent.
• The much hyped kissing scene of John Llyod and Luis was not even a kiss! My gosh - what's the fuss about it!
• Why do Pinoy movies always resort to shouting when confronting?
• At the end of the day, it was all about relationships, acceptance and forgiveness.

Not bad for a $5.28 ticket on a Tuesday night. By the way, it was already the second Tuesday and the moviehouse was still full.
