A Sad Day

Even heaven had a grand plan. First, they took an angel, to whet the appetite -- to check if everything is ready. Then, they called in the total entertainer! All in one day.

Being a child of the 70's -- my growing up years included wanting to be a "Charlie's Angel". I don't think I missed an episode viewed from our black and white TV then. From TV to movies to cancer, I will remember Farrah as the crime fighting Jill Munroe. This fight however, she did not win.

No matter what they say, Michael still ranks high in my all time favorite entertainers. I still listen to "Beat It", "Thriller" and "Wanna Be Startin Somethin" in my MP3 for my cardio routines. The ups and down of his recent life kept people in shock -- always. Even in death, he still caught everyone surprised.

What a sad day.

  1. Sad day indeed-- two icons in the entertainment industry gone in one day. Who would not recognize Farrah Fawcett in the 70's and 80's? and MJ is one of a kind, his legacy will live generations on. No scandal could obliterate what great he has done in the music world.
