Guess what replaced 24 in our Monday nights? Jon and Kate plus 8 of course!Let me make this clear however, it is not a unanimous choice in our household of three. It is only the hubby who enjoys this show so much. D and I find it so strange that the hubby, who seldom watch TV – and who does not care for any reality show is hooked. It is not the recent media attention that captivated him for he has been a fan for several seasons already. He said it is not Kate nor Jon either. What gets him are the 8 kids showing their different personalities even during the earlier episodes. He enjoys hearing them cry, seeing them squabble, watching them having tantrums.
For a father who never had to raise more than one child – Jon and Kate plus 8 is fascinating! Watching the show gives him the vicarious experience of having lots of kids.
And the best part? When the crying and the whining and the pushing gets too much for him – he just turns the TV off. Then, he goes back to his own quiet reality.
No wonder this show is now his Monday night fare. Now, what's in your Monday night?
Ha Ha... I did not know that the show is on Fox... I watch this on TLC and at the premier where Jon & Kate first talked about their realtionship, I was on a date with hubby because it was our anniversary (24th) and I almost missed it... mmayo gani kay gi-replay.

Did you watch the season finale? It broke my heart :-( They better not separate! They have too many kids to worry about if they do. Jon prolly can't even afford to pay for child support. LOL

I don't really watch - just a bit here and there. I am waiting for the mid season shows -- this first ones are all about break ups and all that -- kapoy ko nila. I want to know now! - skip the hype! :)
