As you may have known, I created a separate blog “Life After Steel” (LAS). My purpose for that blog is to reconnect with old friends. Along the way, I also thought of driving a bit of traffic from LAS to this blog. Nothing makes a blogger happy than readers and comments.
My statistics for this blog indicates that 7 of this blog’s readers came from LAS. That should have made me happy, LAS did bring traffic to this blog. That information however brought me to this dilemma. Should my blog’s link be or should not be in Life After Steel.
It feels good to be read by my close friends and relatives. It feels good to be read by my web friends. However, I don’t know if I should feel good knowing I am being read by other people who knows a bit about me, but not really. This is where my conflict lies. Blogging is personal publication. The whole point of blogging is to be read. Why do I suddenly feel so conflicted? I have no idea.
I will make my decision in a week. Meanwhile, I will wait for some of your comments.
Keep the link in LAS. It is an easy access for us vice versa. Don't be bothered on strangers "peeping" you. It means you wrote an interesting topic/issue.

Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Is not you dilemma similar to the confusion created by the chicken & egg? For me, it is wonderful as it is.

ReplyDeleteems: thanks for the welcome. one reason why i voted for retain is malibog na pud ko kung imong usbon. the first time i opened your blogspot nalibog ko ug unsaon pag comment. sa second time na otro na pud ang set up---nangawala na pud ang mga titles sa blogs until naabot ug bisag asa ug pinangita ato imong picture sa college pa mo. anyway i was able to find my way. hated myself for being a blog idiot.

ReplyDeleteYou will get used to it. The next thing I know magblog ka na. Sorry, I am also at fault here, I am always tempted to change something. Now, I plan to limit my labels kay morag daghan na kaayo. I will find time to revise/update them.
