For the United Way campaign, the managers in our office served breakfast last Wednesday. For $3 we got Starbucks coffee, a muffin, and an orange. Although I am not a Starbucks drinker, it was not bad at all since it was for a worthy cause. Last year, I lent my manager my pink apron. This year, he specifically instructed no pink apron for him. Why? Afraid to show your feminine side? LOL.Yesterday, breakfast was on the house. Building management served free breakfast to all the tenants. While a band was playing music, we wait in line. There was quiche, fruits, bagels, pastries, chocolate fondue and a lot more. And it is just the 4th of December.
I am not friends with the weighing scale for this month.

ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing - two breakfasts this week. Only one was free, but $3 for the other one, brought to our desks as if by flight attendants on a plane, was worth that little bit of money. The clementine was delicious, and I like Starbucks coffee. On Friday I felt quite neglected. Nice pics. Did people see you taking pictures of your food at your desk? If they did and didn't say anything, you know they think you have "issues".
