Salamat

S A L A M A T

The Holy Giver of Life. For His continous love despite all my faults. I question Him, doubt His existence, challenge His love, yet I know He is always there.
The human giver of my life -- my parents. Papa, who must be looking at me right now from his nice seat in heaven. He must be smiling, not saying anything - so much like when he was still on earth. Mama -- still a mystery to me until now. Both of them who gave life to my sisters and brother. Proud, forgiving, ever-sacrificing, loving. I feel I have not thanked them enough for all they've done. No matter what I do, they did so much more than I thanked them for.
Hubby's parents who raised a good person, a good husband and father. Despite my being not a perfect daughter in law. They accepted me.
Mahirap magpasalamat sa parents without getting emotional. I am now a parent and I do all things for my son. It does not matter if I am appreciated or not, I just do it for love of a son. I am sure my parents and parents-in-law are the same.

Friends - the ones who were part of my highschool fun -- Joy, Analou, Josephine. Wonder where they are and what they are doing now? College friends -- Injing, Au-au, Grace, Gwen.
College life would not have been the same without them. Isama ko na rin dito yung kinopyahan ko ng calculus, lahat nga mga magagaling kong classmate who practiced engineering, became doctors in engineering, and even those who proceeded to other paths far from engineering -- maraming salamat.

Friends back in Iligan City. In all the fifteen years we spent in Iligan City, wonderful friendships were forged. Great friendships worthy of several blogs. Likewise, new found friends in our second home --Toronto. Starting a new chapter in our life and so lucky to have found new friends along the way. They too deserve space in my blog.

The hubby -- the one who understands and loves me while I am me.
The son - for making us experience life, for being different, for being you.

This list is far from complete. When you begin to reflect and think about it, ang dami-dami pang dapat ipasalamat o pasalamatan.

Happy Thanksgiving!
