- Best Actress - Natalie Portman - Black Swan, no doubt.
- Best Actor - Colin Firth, The King's Speech (Jeff Bridges of True Grit comes a close second for me)
- Best Supporting Actress - Melissa Leo - The Fighter ( I wish Hailee Steinfeld of True Grit wins though)
- Best Supporting Actor - Christian Bale - The Fighter, no doubt
- Best Director - David Fincher, Social Network
- Best Picture - The Kings' Speech (with a broken heart as I really like The Social Network)
- Best Foreign Film - Incendies (not only because it is a Canadian film - but because it is really good)
- Best Animated Film - Toy Story 3
- Sound Editing, Visual Effects, Art Direction - Inception
- Musical Score - Social Network
In 2010 and in 2009
Wow. What a 'right on' prediction. Pretty accurate in retrospect. I'll start renting DVDs from your list. You know something about these that we don't. h-h-h.

bmp,
ReplyDeleteI do feel David Fincher was robbed of the award again. this is the 2nd time I feel he should win (the 1st was for (Benjamin Button in 2009).
Reading this, Incendies came into my radar. I knew it is a tragic film and kept away until I was a bit 'stronger'. I watched it because it was one of the few available on BluRay. I have to argue it is not good or not a feel good way. Man, I am devastated. I console myself it is fiction however it was presented like a documentary and the acting is like you are there.
