23,871 steps accomplished in Ottawa. What made this possible is being in a downtown hotel where everything was walking distance. Add to this the desire to find graffiti and cover the city core a few weeks before Canada celebrated its 150th year.
No. 6 happened in Marseilles and Aix-de-Provence, France. One walking tour taken during our first cruise. Ahhh...the memories and 16,586 steps.
From the Plains of Abraham to the Old Quebec city plus the walking food tour - no wonder I made 16,386 steps here.
Just because I live in Toronto does not mean I cannot make a lot of steps. One December day I tackled the Allan Garden, Toronto Music Garden and then joined Kensington market'sWinter Solstice parade. I made those 18,272 steps because a TTC street car was out of service making me walk from King Street to College.
