There is something about high school. It does not matter if it was an exclusive academe, an expensive training ground, or just an ordinary one. All good and not-so-good experiences in those years become beautiful memories after the passing of time.

Thanks to technology, reunions both actual and virtual are happening a lot lately.

Sometimes, it feels scary and strange that somewhere in this wide world there is a group of people who knows us. Long before we conquered the world; met our significant others; became professionals, business people, or full time parents – there is always THE high school. We learned Algebra, Biology, and the life of Rizal. Along the way, we also learned about us. High school somehow set the stage of what was to become.

YES, there definitely is something about high school. Reminiscing about it reminds us that we were young once, carefree, and excited about life. 35 years later, it no longer matters who was campus queen, the popular athlete, or the nerd. All that remains are the fun memories of those years. So fresh, colorful, and vivid they seem to happen only yesterday.

Cheers to high school life! I’d do it again – in a heartbeat!
