Twenty eight years ago I began working at National Steel Corporation (NSC) in Iligan City, Philippines on January 17. My first job after graduation and thus my entrance to the salaried professionals. In that steel world and bucolic city, I gathered a lifetime of experience, a handful of friendships, and a truckload of memories.

Ten years ago I also began working for the Ontario Provincial Government on January 17. Starting as a temporary staff from the agency, I never imagined myself to be here for a long time. I have learned to love Yonge and Bloor, have enjoyed the occasional office drama, and have accepted that the OPS is my new world.
